Our regular short-form open-performance event returns!
Whether it be a monologue or scene from a work that they really want to perform, a story they want to tell, a piece from something they’ve written, or something new entirely, we’re looking forward to welcoming all of these stories and performers to the stage and giving performers a space to say something - and for you to hear it!
Some performances may contain adult language.
PAY-WHAT-YOU-WILL
$10 suggested minimum donation to support use of the space.
Proceeds go toward funding future Say Something! events.
Admission will be available at the door, but attendance is limited - reserving seats in advance is encouraged.
Concessions will be sold at this event.
LUKE DOWLING
Luke Dowling is an actor, director, prop maker, and occasional playwright. He most recently appeared as Guildenstern in Little Garden Theater’s productions of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead and Hamlet opposite the marvelous K. Zdepski. He is also one of the directors for Unity House Players’ upcoming scene showcase, Shakespeare’s Timeless Twisted Pub, which opens in October. Performing Act II, Scene 2 from The Two Noble Kinsmen by William Shakespeare and John Fletcher with K. Zdepski.
JESSE STERLING HARRISON
Jesse Sterling Harrison is a Brave Tiger Records recording artist and author. His stories will be featured in upcoming issues of Lovecraftiana, Bullet Points, and the Witches Save the World anthology. Performing "Puppets and Aliens" by Jesse Sterling Harrison.
JOYANNE
Joyanne is surrounded by stories as she works with elders, interprets the Christian message as a preacher, and lives in the world all of which provides rich fodder for her storytelling. Performing a personal story titled "Workers' Comp."
MARK LA RIVIÈRE
Mark La Rivière has been away from the limelight off and on for the past 10 years. His career spans over 20 years on stage, screen, and television. He produced and directed. Most recent work includes August: Osage County and The Murder at Marouatte in Dordogne, France. He worked prior predominately in the San Francisco Bay area. He has performed at the San Francisco Playhouse, Marin Theatre Co., The Magic Theatre, Center Rep, and Contra Costa Civic Theatre. A few of his most Memorable productions were Reckless, Buried Child, Proof, I Hate Hamlet, and the world premieres of Fugitive Kind and Charlie Cox Runs with Scissors. Some of this film credits include Save Me, Flu Season, The Seagull, and Scrappers. He was seen on the Japanese television show Stunning World News with his portrayal of Cameron Hooker. Performing “The Velvet Rope Revolt” with Vivienne La Rivière.
VIVIENNE LA RIVIÈRE
Vivienne La Rivière as been performing and creating art most of her life on and off stage. She is an award-winning artist. She has performed in Willy Wonka and Saving Nemo. She has recently worked and performed within the actors studio at The Hartford Stage. She is looking forward to making her debut with Say Something: Volume 3! Performing “The Velvet Rope Revolt” with Mark La Rivière.
LIV LAUREN
Liv Lauren started performing with WIGB as of this year and enjoys seeing the group continue to grow. She is excited to bring you her love of ancient story telling through her performance of Antigone. Performing Antigones Monologue from Antigone by Sophocles.
JOE LESSARD
Joe Lessard is beyond thrilled to perform for a third time in WIGB's "Say Something" event. Joe's recent stage appearances include Applause (ETC), The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] [again] (WUP), and A Rock Sails By (Suffield Players). Performing "Always Be Closing" from the film Glengarry Glen Ross.
MICHAEL BUSTER McMAHON
Michael Buster McMahon is local playwright whose works can be seen on 50 TV channels across three states and youtube with "The Michael Buster McMahon Televised Radio Playhouse and Used Tire Company" - check out an episode! If you don’t like it, you are allowed to slap him. He is a former standup comedian and ESPN radio talk show host. His full length comedy Sanctuary Much! was put on by the Exit 7 Theatre last year, but his sitcom Beg To Differ was rejected by NBC and FX. He has a black belt in No Kan Do. Performing Bob Newhart's "The Grace L. Ferguson Airline."
KELLY MAKENNA
Kelly Makena is an aspiring actor originally from East Tennessee. She loves stories more than anything, and she hopes to help bring them to life. Performing “Just Hungry” by Kelly Maeknna with Ashley Morgan.
PRISCILLA MOLLARD
Priscilla Mollard is a local bioarchaeologist with a penchant for playing unhinged women. Performing Elizabeth's monologue from "The Brownings.”
DORIAN MUZA
Dorian Muza graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University’s acting program in 2019. After being out of the spotlight since then, he has found his passion for performing and wants to thank his amazing partner and spouse Michael for the encouragement. Performing Benedick’s monologue from Act II, Scene 3 of Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare.
ASHLEY MORGAN
Ashley Morgan is an aspiring artist from South Hadley, Massachusetts. She has a particular fondness for cinema and performance art. Performing “Just Hungry” by Kelly Maeknna with Kelly Makenna.
THE EXCITED COMEDIAN
Dave Needle had a long career covering technology as a reporter and editor in Silicon Valley. He returned to MA in 2022 ready for new challenges in “retirement”. One of those challenges turned out to be stand up comedy as he reinvented himself as The Excited Comedian. Performing a comedy routine.
KENNEDY PRASHAW
Kennedy Prashaw loves WIGB and friends and is happy to be performing with them again! She’s ecstatic to be a part of this community and can’t wait for A Midsummer Nights Dream in November. She would like to thank her family, friends, and fiancée Hender for their continued love and support in all her endeavors! Performing Sylvia’s Monologue from Will You Please Shut Up? by Dan O’Brien.

ACE TAYLOE
Ace Tayloe is getting back into the swing of acting, with upcoming performances as Romeo and Bottom in UHP’s “Shakespeare's Timeless Twisted Pub” this October, as well as Peaseblossom and Philostrate in WIGB’s own A Midsummer Night’s Dream this November. Other recent forays include Hamlet in Little Garden Theater’s joint Hamlet and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (along with a few other weirdos…), costuming for Macbeth with Hampshire Shakespeare Company, participating in live-action role playing with New England Interactive Literature, and running for city council in Northampton. Performing Sister Acantha's description of her calling from Season 2, Episode 2, “Chapter 17: If I Could Trace With Bloodless Fingers” from The Silt Verses podcast by Jon Ware and Muna Hussen.
RACHEL TEFERET
Rachel Teferet (Xe/They) is a writer, witch, and creative writing MFA graduate from Lesley University, working on multiple dark fantasy novels. Their work appears in 40 publications and counting, including Subprimal Poetry Art, Zoetic Press’s NonBinary Review, Page & Spine, Slink Chunk Press, Manawaker Podcast, and was recently a grand prize winner for a collection of protest poetry included in “Resistance: an Anthology of Overcoming,” forthcoming by Awatum Press. They have +6,000 followers on their blog lettersandfeathers.wordpress.com. Performing "Witch Friend Breakups are the Fucking Worst" by Rachel Teferet.
K. ZDEPSKI
K. Zdepski last performed as Rosencrantz in the Little Garden Theater’s dual productions of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead and Hamlet opposite the fantastic Luke Dowling. Offstage, K. can be found working under the tallest library in North America, writing and playing theater style LARPs with New England Interactive Literature, and taking as many dance classes as possible. See them next in the Unity House Players’ “Shakespeare’s Timeless Twisted Pub” scene showcase this October.
